Rosehip Lemonade Popsicles

Rosehip Lemonade Popsicles

Iced herbal tea is such a staple beverage on hot days but what if you turned them into popsicles? Even better!

All you need are some popsicle molds, tea bags, a squeeze of lemon and some patience.

You can put a beauty spin on these hydrating popsicles by adding a scoop or two of collagen peptide powder to keep your skin plump and radiant.

Recipe (makes 6 popsicles):

2 cups water

2 tea bags of rosehip & hibiscus tea

Juice of half a lemon

1-2 scoops Sparkle Collagen with Verisol®

Sweetener of choice: maple syrup, brown rice syrup, or coconut sugar or stevia.

Lemon slices as garnish

To make the tea, you can either cold brew the tea bags in water for a couple of hours in the frdge or just steep them in warm water and leave the tea to cool down for 20 minutes. Stir the collagen powder in the herbal tea and then add the lemon juice.

Tip: Don’t combine fresh lemon juice with hot water as the healthy enzymes will be killed.

Without a sweetener, the popsicles end up quite tart even with the stevia in Sparkle Collagen, so if you prefer them a bit sweeter, add a teaspoon or two of your favorite sweetener.

Pour the tea into the popsicle molds, slip in one lemon slice per popsicle, and freeze them for at least four hours or overnight.
