Eucalyptus Mint Food Scrub

Eucalyptus Mint Food Scrub

The week’s drawing to a close and your tootsies are probably feeling tired and worn so here’s a DIY tutorial on how to make a simple but thoroughly satisfying foot scrub in your bathroom.

1 cup sea salt

1 tablespoon almond oil

1 tablespoon castor oil

20 drops eucalyptus oil

15 drops peppermint oil

Mix all the ingredients together in a small bowl and then apply it onto your feet in circular motions and focusing on particularly rough spots. Massage the scrub gently all over your feet for 1-2 minutes. Then, rinse with warm water.

If you do not have castor oil, just use two tablespoons of whatever oil you have — jojoba, or coconut, or olive oil work just as well.

Tip: Did you know that castor oil has a softening effect on the skin? This affordable oil is also great as a foot moisturizer to relieve dry skin and chapping.
